Costco Gas - Monterey Park

lines not long. three pumps stations. great. Quick access to and from CA-60

Lines move fairly quick and they have several lanes to choose from.

One of the cheapest gas prices you'll find in Los Angeles (pretty much any Costco Gas station).

Not too far from the freeway exit/entrance and easy to access.

I went to this Costco in the middle of the day (on a Monday) and it was not very busy. I pulled right up to the gas pump! Lots of pumps.

Love that there is a free charging station for EV cars! Problem is that 1) it’s located in front of the handicapped and therefore hard to reach. I had to pull out of the space while other non-EV cars were trying to take it so I could back in for the long cord to reach my car. The cart worker was kind and helped me with the traffic so I didn’t lose the spot 2) people full on park there without EV cars!!! A non-EV car was parked there when I first arrived and right when I left Lady in a minivan pulled in even though I told her it was only for EV cars.

Recommend: putting in more EV stations, swapping 1-2 Handicapped spots with the EV spots, making CLEAR SIGNAGE to identify EV ONLY parking and making the EV to go off after an hour so people don’t hog the few spaces available. Of course if more EV stations were put in, this might not be as much of a problem. I believe that EV owners would be willing to walk in lieu of parking next to the handicapped where everyone wants the spot to be right up front.

I was a little surprised at how long it took to get through the food court because it was not very busy and yet it took about 15 minutes to stand in line.

Only four stars at this Costco due the the slow pace of the food line and the difficulty in charging the EV but thumbs up that they even have a free EV station!

Great gas prices compared to other places only bad thing is..... the service is slow because there are so many cars packed because of the amazing low price but it’s worth the wait. It is cheaper and will help your budget. :)

I used to go to commerce so I'm happy they built a gas station close to my job. They have 3 pumps per lane and it's a one way to get in line so that's great. Of course weekends and prime time hours are gonna have lines, but don't be intimidated the line goes fast! ☆☆☆☆☆
