From the moment we walked into The Meridian, we felt a sense of warmth and community. Our mom has lived here a few months now in assisted living, and we couldn't be happier. We chose the meridian because not only is it the most beautiful and best location... but the staff all seemed very friendly and residents VERY active compared to other places we saw, All turned out to be true. She enjoys the delicious food and fun activities. A big shout out to some of their staff, David, Shaun, Austin, Edward, Theresa and Dina!!

My husband and I have lived here for 3 years, and we have a beautiful lake view apartment. Shaun McGuirk was one the first people that greeted us when we first arrived, and he is one of the friendliest people on staff. I am writing this during the pandemic, and they have kept us extremely safe. It is very nice that I don’t have too cook. I have a full kitchen in my apartment, but we let the meridian cook for us. The chef is always available and open to new ideas. The grounds here are always pristine thanks to groundskeeper Adam! He always keeps it up, and it’s enjoyable to sit and relax around the community. There are lots of fun activities for us to do, and I really enjoy the swim class. The Meridian all around checks all the boxes, and they are the best in the area.

I have performed piano for the residents of the Meridian at Lake San Marcos for almost the past year, and I can say with conviction that this is one of the most pleasant senior apartments in San Diego. They treat their residents with care and respect, and I can tell after meeting and speaking with several of their residents that they have loads activities. In particular, their assisted living director Dina Scalia has taken a keen interest in providing a variety of enjoyable options for them. She even graciously hired me to give "virtual" concerts for their residents during this difficult and sensitive time of health conciousness. Additionally, it's a beautiful community—first rate all around.

I have lived here since September 2019, and since then The Meridian has offered many things that I have been able to take advantage of and enjoy very much. For instants activities like trivial pursuit, charades, and a writing group I recently joined and am going to throughly enjoy. The amenities, the food, the service like the waiters and waitresses have been exceptional. The service has been very good and they don’t forget things and very attentive. The food is excellent and Chef Mark does a great job! Shaun and Austin are very personable, and they know your name. The Meridian can take you shopping and to your doctor appointments either in their town car or bus. At first, I thought my apartment would be too small, however I was wrong. It is perfect and I am very happy. I like being on the 3rd floor. The caregivers are great. They come in the trash is empty, they knock on your door, and they see how you’re doing. If you’re not feeling well they make sure to take extra great care of you.

I have lived here at The Meridian for 13 months, and I really like it here. The grounds are well kept and beautiful and clean. There are all kinds of activities available for all residents. There is a different movie every night in the movie theater. I enjoy the morning exercise classes and Sunday church services. I am a part of the chimes program and we preform every couple months. The food is very good and the serving staff is very good at what they do. The restaurants are beautiful and well kept. The care-staff is very friendly and always attentive. The Meridian has computers always available in the library. I really enjoy the transportation services and they take me to all my medical appointments and to go shopping. The maintenance group is great and they have helped me with many things in my apartment. All around a great community and I really recommend taking a look around!
