Armstrong Garden Centers

I relocated from Boston a little over two years ago and missed the garden centers (like Mahoney's). I was super happy today when I discovered Armstrong's; it's got helpful staff, a full array of soil amendments, a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants, bird feeders, patio furniture, gifts and a great selection of indoor and outdoor pots at reasonable prices. Some of the house plants seemed over priced, but others were similar in price to big box stores. That being said, the plants that seemed expensive to me are ones I have had for about 10 years, and brought with me from the east coast. This is going to be my preferred local gardening center.

A great selection of plants, including shrubs and trees. Beautiful planters of all colors and sizes. One star off because it’s rather expensive.

You want a plant, or want to know more about a plant, then come here. The staff here will help you find the right pot, soil, tools for your gardening needs. This was my first time and it was great to see the selection and quality. So much better than big box garden centers. Will come back for more down the line.

Best Retail Garden Store for a beautiful and quality plants year round. The employees are knowledgeable, nice and helpful. They also have one of the most extensive collection of large pots. The plants might not be the least expensive, but they are healthy and many of them come with a one year guarantee.
