I love seeing historical houses that are still intact and also the house has 90% of the original furnishings.
It was a nice building and nice garden, but it was no signage or anything to show how to get into the building, was kind of confusing
This is a great little museum. I went for a special exhibition of which you can see in my pictures, but they have an outdoor area and you can see a historic house of the Pasadena area. There is a little gift shop that is nice as well.
Our first trip to this little jewel of a museum. We saw a fantastic exhibit of (largely) unknown California women artists. This was prompted by the mammoth 4-volume series that was published last year on the same subject, and we were fortunate to have a 2-hour (!) tour given by one of the two co-authors of the book, Joseph Moorsman. Just excellent!

Instead of being a history museum (think British museum, Museum of London...) there were two rooms; one of...

The Pasadena Museum of History is one of the area's best-kept secrets for history buffs. Formerly, home to the Finnish consulate, this 18-room museum features American paintings as well as 15th and 16th century European antiques. The section that focuses on historical Pasadena is located in the...
