I was referred to Madrell’s Auto Body Repair by a friend; and let me tell you they DIDN’T disappoint. Jorge and his team did an excellent job repairing, fixing, checking & adjusting my frame alignment, and painting my Honda Element just like new. Their work is of highest quality. I appreciated their communication throughout the insurance and repair process which made me feel at ease. They have a great and courteous staff that goes the extra mile. Jorge treated me like family, and I was happy to get my “Ele” back in mine. I highly recommend them. Mahalo Jorge and staff. (I've included some before and after photos)

I only dealt with Jorge Jr., but I've heard from other reviews that Jorge Sr. is just as great.
My Mercedes was rear-ended by a box truck, so the damage was very sizeable. I initially took the car to Caliber because I've dealt with them before, and they came back to me with a $17,000 quote. That's insane. I started to come to terms with the fact that I was losing my car.
But I started to shop around for independent body shops and came across Mandrell's and another body shop nearby. From the phone calls alone, I already knew which way I was leaning. Jorge Jr was super friendly, informative, educated, and had an all-around willingness to help. I didn't get that same warmth from the other shop. I still took my car to both shops to get more detailed quotes, and upon meeting both, I just knew my car was in better hands at Mandrell's.
Jorge Jr was extremely easy to work with and made it a point to educate me with everything that was going on, from what he felt needed replacing versus fixing, how much things could cost depending on factors like the year of the car, how often cars like mine are being totaled around this time, etc. He also let me know his experience once working with very high-end cars prior to opening Mandrell's. With certain parts of the car that needed replacing, I had the option of choosing a new or used part. Overall, the quote Jorge Jr gave me was only a FRACTION of the quote Caliber gave me.
I dropped my car off with him prior to going on a trip out of town. I got an estimate for a three week turnaround. I spoke with Jorge Jr a couple times just to see how things were going, and he let me know that things were going smoothly, minus some part shipments taking a little longer to get to him (I requested a brand new AMG spoiler to replace the one that was damaged, little did we all know that it would take to Mercedes overseas to send it over, no biggie, just added a little bit of time).
When he let me know that my car was ready to be picked up, I headed over to take a look. I was AMAZED at the work done! The car looked like it hadn't even been damaged at all. The paint was just as smooth as the undamaged parts of the car and the color match was perfect! Because of the damage done from the truck, there was a LOT of parts that needed replacing. And with that, came just a couple hiccups: my trunk lid made a clunking noise while opening and closing and my brake lights were intermittent. As these were very minor issues, I didn't rush back to get them fixed as time and distance wouldn't allow me to. At Mandrell's, any work done includes a LIFETIME WARRANTY -- after a couple months, I called Jorge Jr up and we scheduled a time to take the car back in for these minor hiccups. The brake lights ended up being a simple bulb power issue, and the trunk lid just had a rogue screw loose. I had my car back in just a day and everything was working as it should.
I made it a point to wait months after I received my car back and got some minor things looked at before writing this review, to help give me a sense of everything from my experience booking with them to the follow-up after their services were completed. In summary, I was impressed by both the quality of work and the customer service I received before, during, and even after services were completed. From being involved in an accident, to coming to terms with losing my unique car, to Jorge giving me an amazing quote and ultimately saving my car and turning this incredibly negative situation into a positive one, I plan to take any future auto body needs to Mandrell's, for both my and my family's vehicles.
