“Nice and unpretentious restaurant. Good variety of seafood and some other dishes for people who don't like fish. My fried calamari were delicious, and were not too oily, as sometimes happens if they reuse the oil many times. You order at the counter, where they're friendly and helpful. Then you choose a table at the back and wait your number to be called. My only concern was it took too long for our food to be ready, but I guess it's because everything is fresh and cooked to order. I recommend it.”

“We had a great experience with the stand up paddle rental here. It was our first time doing it and the lady explained very well to us how to use it and made us very comfortable. We got to paddle along the harbor and saw fish, birds and sea lions only few meters away. A highlight of our trip.”

“We were originally looking for a boat under ten thousand dollars. I emailed a broker of a boat I searched on the internet with no response. (then again a $7500 boat does have a good commission.) Vaughn was great and sat with me while we looked at craigslist boats which was my suggestion. He was positive and said he would refer surveyors and anything else I need if I just take him sailing. His professionalism and product knowledge blew me away. Well after researching what can I say....Buy something under ten with constant upgrading and maintaining?..no. Vaughn found me a beautiful Catalina 320 the day he arrived back from vacation and we went through the motions. Now it ended up being much more money and Vaughn wanted to make sure I was not over my head breaking piggy banks. He found me three beautiful slips in Marina Del Rey to choose from before my offer was finalized. It is nice to be able to talk with a yacht broker with so much passion and followthrough. We cannot say enough great things about this company. Now its time to continue my sailing lessons!”

“This was an outstanding visit. I love seafood and I haven’t had Joe’s in years (literally). So we enter the door and are seating and drinks ordered all within a minute! The only bad part- we got a table near the cold. Our server was happy, full of energy, knew the menu, and pleasant to be around. The menu had delicious, mouth-watery items, and I couldn’t choose, but I chose....dUh! It was a night that my birthday was celebrated and we actually were 1 of 2 birthdays that night. I got to be the captain and it felt just so right!”

“I went to Beryl during middle 70's, had a great time there and many fun memories! Loved the huge play ground, and was a great place to ride bikes or skate, or just play on the swings during the summer time...also played many games of hide n go seek all around the school in summer!!! I think its very cool they still have the Halloween parade every year! Glad to see the school is one of the best in the nation! Way to go Beryl!!!”
