  This park has lots of great shade trees for picnic areas, a big playground, a usable baseball/softball field, good parking, and good bathroom options. It's adjacent to a nature center with various rescued wildlife and a junior ranger program, hiking/horseback riding trails, a large soccer complex, and a horse stable with lots of training arenas. There's a private golf course just up the road, as well as a juvenile correction facility.

  I grew up in SD, so I've spent much time there. Great park. Bathrooms smell like urine usually (I think its soaked into concrete and cant be removed) Kids love the mini zoo!

  Had a family reunion here, we all had a great time lots of shade and tables for everyone to be able to enjoy the day.

  The park is great. I go there for picnics and to relax. However I will say for those adventurous types there are some trails nearby that lead to some wild areas. You have a drive a bit further up past the homes and the park. Once up there be very careful. Be aware of your surrounding not just for wild life but people there are people who venture deep into the secluded parts and do some target practice. I've seen remnants and on one occasion found a guy shooting beer cars with a .22 rifle. He wasn't weird or anything and waited for me to safely pass before continuing. Just be mindful of your surroundings.

  Love this park it's actually my favorite of all time. So many benches and trees. There's a huge field and the bathrooms are open late. A lot of good spots to hang a hammock from and nice to be at night. There's a nature center I haven't been to yet but honestly I'll be going here everyday it makes me so happy haha.
