(January 7, 2019, 11:25 pm)Food is always hot and made with fresh ingredients. I've been going to Casa Del Rey for about 40 years and the amount of food is the same. You wont leave here hungry.
(January 3, 2019, 9:28 am)Great food; beans & rice are excellent & scratch made. No lard (unfortunately, but if that's your thing, worth noting). Great service. Went on Jan 2, 2019 - a Wednesday - with a large group of family. Place was packed! They already had a large group in their large groups room but accommodated us on the patio. Very clean restrooms. Vegetarian, low carb & gluten free options. Full bar. Non smoking, large, well heated (in winter), covered patio dining with TV. Small outdoor section where smokers can go to smoke (no dining here, of course, it's California). Parking lot not huge but there's free street parking as well.
(December 10, 2018, 6:49 pm)Most recent visit, food was improved, and beer list slightly better. Service has always been good. But was not busy on Saturday night, always concerning that something might be up.
