  I cannot say enough good things about Dr Richardson and the staff at his clinic. We traveled from Canada to seek his expert opinion on my mother's Glaucoma and it was the best decision we have made in all her treatment. Dr Richardson really took the time to understand all that was going on and gave an honest and robust assessment and empowered us to take proactive steps to slow/halt mom's glaucoma progression. He realized the immediacy of our situation and was also able to get us an urgent referral to one of the most sought after surgeons in Canada. That's in stark contrast to our doctors back home that have been reactive and more or less watching my mom go blind and always intervening too late. His proactive approach is what is absolutely necessary if patients are to slow glaucoma progression.
  
  Perhaps the quality that has stayed with us the most is that he genuinely cares for his patient and is willing to provide them with whatever care they need. That's a huge difference from our other doctors who never gave mom the time and attention her complicated glaucoma required.
  
  It blows our mind that he provides such care to an overseas patient, that only saw him for one visit, and with no prior or expected future patient relationship. How lucky must his regular patients be!

  Knowledgable,caring&courteos Physician with Excellent clinical skills.Staff is also very caring.Office is clean and comfortable.There is hardly any wait time as scheduling is done efficiently.We drive 60miles each way to see him!!

  Had one cataract operated on about 5 years ago, now had the other cataract operated on in March. Very satisfied with the results.
  
  I am just cautious about surgery though, and lived with corrective glasses until I really couldn't put up with it any longer, just in case something went wrong. But, nothing went wrong, and for distance I see better than 20/20.
  
  Also, the night glare from headlights and streetlights is gone (though people who put HID bulbs in halogen fixtures are still obnoxious). I do notice colors are different than before the surgery; the moon is so white now. A lot of reading fatigue is gone now too. I feel much younger now. I see better now without prescription glasses than I have since my early teens when my eyes changed and I started needing prescription glasses.

  Even though he doesn’t accept insurance and his office is a long drive for me, I would never trust my vision to anyone else.

  FINALLY!!! A doctor who took the time to explain the tests performed and the results! A huge plus was the fact that even though the office was busy he wasn't in a hurry to rush me out. Dr. Richardson sat down and addressed my concerns. If you have any doubts about making an appointment? Please hesitate NO longer because from the moment you walk in the staff is more than willing to take care of you.
