Bethlehem SCV

We were looking for a church. I had little kids. We went to Bethlehem and it was so easy to belong This place is our second home. We have so many dear friends that have become family. Most important of all, we have a loving relationship with Jesus and lots of opportunities to worship and serve.

I have been a member of Bethlehem SCV for 18 years. What I love about our church is that all are welcome. We have a beautiful music ministry that adds so much to our worship times. The congregation has small groups, I enjoy our Wednesday night dinner and Bible study as well. Our church feels like my spiritual “home.”
Our Pastor Joe is so articulate and his sermons are Biblically sound - it’s amazing how God speaks through his messages. The perfect church for imperfect people!

Twenty three years ago when I was raising my teenage daughter as a single divorced mom I found BethlehemSCV. Seeking new friendships for her, I found a loving church family and a deeper relationship with Christ. Pastor Joe is a young, vibrant and passionate teacher. Bring your kids and find new loving relationships for your whole family. PS- Wednesday night bible study we have delicious food! Plus we just hosted our first Trunk or Treat, and we had so much fun doing it!!!!

We found our church home! We first came to Bethlehem SCV in 2015 for their Easter Eggstravaganza. I loved seeing many members working together to put on an event for families in the community. People were warm and welcoming. That has been a theme we’ve noticed consistently - church members working together, serving the community, and welcoming guests.
We love the Pastor’s messages - they are based on the Bible and presented in a real and accessible way. I also like that he doesn’t shy away from the more convicting messages, but continues to speak with the goal of stirring our hearts and minds, and helping us all to grow, including himself.
The church body works together to serve the community. There are always projects and opportunities to get involved and to give back. I appreciate that we are helping people in our local SCV community through food drives, collecting change, donating school supplies and more. In addition we also work to support people outside of our community, creating care packages for soldiers, helping provide USB sticks with the Bible on them to folks who may not have access.
And within the church community there are activities to grow in our faith. There are weekly dinner and Bible Study groups, groups to get together and socialize on a regular basis, Kids’ Church, Vacation Bible School, three styles of worship opportunities, and so much more.
Bethlehem SCV truly is a place to belong, a place to become.

I have been enjoying this, Church. I am always greeted with a “hello” & friendly smile. I find myself arriving early just so that I can meet people. The pastor is full of energy, (sometimes comical) and remains focused in a teaching way that helps me understand God’s message. The worship music is excellent & spiritually moving. I recommend this Church; it is welcoming, the music is excellent & the Pastor is worth listening too 
