Placerita Junior High School

My daughter went and she loved it but, there was a lot of violence and hopefully that changes.

I went there and I love it I have a kid that goes hear and she loves it

I go there and all the teachers are nice if you get to know them including staff

Honestly, the school itself is a bit small and a bit run-down. However, the teachers are amazing, or at least the ones I've been taught by. They're an absolute joy to be taught by, and the rotating bell schedule, while slightly confusing, makes each day different. Ms. Spula, the music instructor, really is spectacular. She's led the String Orchestra to the SCSBOA Festival Rating of Unanimous Superior and Superior many times, and always makes the school days fun. The only things I really dislike is the neighborhood and some of the students. The neighborhood does feel unsafe and makes it hard to walk/bike home, and a lot of the students aren't studious in the least, which makes it hard to study and do well when the teachers focus on the students that don't care. Overall, Placerita Junior High School is a great place to be.
