Dr. Hernandez, his staff, and SCOI are outstanding. Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where the surgery was done, didn't follow through with consistent PT. Topanga Terrace is a rest home with an excellent PT unit. Care was top notch for PT, but care from Topanga Terrace was sketchy with long waits with the call button. However, the food was excellent.

Hip replacement. After surgery I never stopped walking. I did every little thing as instructed to help with recovery. I did physical therapy exercises on my own insuring to complete all recommended exercises. 2 weeks after surgery I was back to work (IT Tech office support). Taking it easy but no problems. 3 months after surgery I was back on my motorcycle (street bike) everyday to and from work and pleasure riding. 6 months after surgery Elevator at work was getting serviced, I walked up 138 stairs no pain no problems. I took care of business and 15 minutes later went back down those 138 stairs no pain or fatigue.

My visits to this facility has always been a pleasant experience. Dr Barcohana treated me for my sciatica. He performed surgery on me and I am now pain free. The Doctor's and staff are truly professionals and make you feel comfortable and show that they care about you.

Highly recommend Dr. Hernandez for his expertise in hip replacement. He did both my hips and I am great. I recovered quickly and can do almost anything. High praise is also deserving for for Maria, the Total Joint Coordinator, and the entire nursing staff that prepares you for surgery. You cannot get better care.
