  Best place on the cost for state beach.
  Definitely need to get better coffee.
  Excellent food !
  Perfect for family to enjoy a meal and watch kids at same time.
  One of my top 10 places in L.A.
  Would give a 5 star but I love my coffee.

  Very good place for recreation with children, nice pool, delicious food in the cafe, loved the game rooms, I recommend this place!

  Great for families. Year round there's a playground and restaurant. During the summer there's a pool and splash pad. The pool offers showers, changing facilities, and lockers. The pool and parking fill up fast each day.

  Very relaxing and great for both children and adults. Just remember to bring a towel and a change of clothes for the young ones, as they will likely find the wet patch irresistible! There's a decent restaurant on premise as well (and service is very good when they place isn't overwhelmed with families).

  For the last three years this facility had been our go-to place for every spare moment we’ve had, my three year old daughter has grown up there and told me last night “mommy I love the beach”. From the playground to the splash pad to the restaurant where she can dig in the sand while mommy has mommy juice, every component of this place is a joy. Weekends are a challenge tho, with the pool and parking passes selling out early, make sure you reserve on Reserve SM and get there before 11 am or the parking people will tell you the lot is full and you will have to walk from a nearby lot, which isn’t the end of the world but it’s no fun when you’re carrying the entire beach section of Toys R Us with you. I finally decided to have my daughters third birthday party there as it’s to darn fun. So what if everyone has to buy pool passes and parking in advance? It’s the FUNNEST.

Annenberg Community Beach House is far better than the food stall about 1.5mi south on the beach. There was a private event at the pool and viewing deck, but I made do with a picnic table and then in the cafe.
