  I just want to give a shout out to the tellers here for taking care of me. My business’ bank is closed and I can’t do any change orders or anything with them. I am a personal banker at US Bank and called them and they helped me with a change order and getting everything up and running. Kudos to this branch for being awesome!

  This was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip to California -- surfing lessons on Santa Monica Beach for our kids -- ages 13, 10 and 7. Golden State Surf Co. was awesome to work with. Laine was easy and responsive organizing the lessons via email. Laine recommended our 7 year old have her own instructor, which was absolutely the right call. Instructors Lucas and Esteban were great with the kids -- fun, patient and totally engaged. Would highly recommend Golden State Surf Co. for your next surfing experience!

  My girlfriend and I had a lesson with Lucas and had a blast! He was super friendly, patient, and knowledgable. We are both beginning surfers and he helped get us standing up and comfortable pretty quickly. It was awesome that he let us use the gear for extra time so that we could keep surfing. Lucas also gave us some great local food recommendations. Would definitely hit up Golden State Surf Co again!

  The surfing, the lesson and Sergio were all excellent!  I appreciated Sergio very much because he first made me feel safe, carefully explaining safety precautions, and always watching me, and second was a great, clear, and caring instructor.  I had only surfed one day before, quite a few years ago, and he helped me to get up on the very first wave!!  And I improved within the lesson.

  I really recommend this place. We went here because the place had 5 star reviews and they do really deserve it. Our instructor Laine was super friendly and great at explaining and teaching, it was a bit choppy on the day but he made it feel super safe. He spent good time with both of us, helping us time the waves and telling us what we should think of for next wave. We were so happy with the session!

  I called these guys on the day that I wanted my lesson (short notice, I know), but they were great and accommodating and booked me in for that afternoon. I was given nice detailed instructions as to where to find them. My instructor Mike, was really nice and friendly, and knew his stuff. He gave me some awesome instruction and tips on the beach, and then we went out into the water! I managed to stand up on quite a few waves and had SUCH a good time :) Mike was great and relaxed, but still super helpful. We even stayed in a bit longer than intended (no extra charge :)). I'm going back tomorrow for another lesson actually - had a SUCH a sweet time.
