Artemis Academy Mixed Martial Arts

Highly recommend Artemis Academy for everyone in the community. It has been a wonderful experience to be able to learn this martial art and breakdowns and specific details. This is something the city of South Gate needed for a long time and now that instructor Mike Hermosillo brought it to the city it has made a big difference and change a lot of individual life.

This place is next level training. Good energy all around which will set you up for success if you put in the work. Wether you want to learn how to defend yourself or even be a well recognized competitor, I highly recommend this facility. Some benefits to name a few may be loosing weight, learning how to protect yourself, or even become an athlete all while being part of an uplifting community. Coach Mike as head instructor shows the basics step by step for the technique to be perfected then taking the professional steps to build all the way to a respected athlete if this is your ultimate goal. Lastly, his investment in his team mates and athletes goes above and beyond what the ordinary provides. You won’t regret investing in this opportunity as it’s truly a valuable one.

Artemis Academy is a great family oriented and friendly place to attend. Coach Mike which is the main instructor is very attentive and dedicated coach that helps each student needs to learn and achieve each ones goal in class. Each instructor at Artemis Academy are willing to help instruct and perfect each move you learn every week. The Academy is a great place to learn techniques that can help you defend yourself if ever needed out in the streets but also becomes a fun and awesome journey when you perfect your moves and level up in your technique. My kids and I attend the academy and it has been one of the greatest decision that I have made for my kids and I. Our physical health has improved, our overall mental health is stronger and most important it has became a great family activity. There hours are great so your kids can attend and also there adult class hours are awesome for those who have a busy schedule with late class hours. I highly recommend Artemis Academy to everyone it will change your life and its never to late to start!

Great place to learn and train self defense/ jiujitsu. Professor Mike and his coaches are a great example of mix martial artists not only to us but to our young samurais. Come check them out and see it for your self.

I love Artemis academy! The coaches are great and very attentive. As a beginner I felt like everything was broken down to me in a way I could understand. Now that I’m competing and taking it more seriously I feel like they’re doing an amazing job at pushing me to new levels and developing my game as an athlete.
