Beautiful place ! Lovely atmosphere ! I ordered salmon. It was a small portion but very flavorful
and the plate presentation was beautiful.
We sat outside so it was cold but they do have heating above where you sit & small propane heaters are available fee of charge of course ????
Piano music was playing. Not live but it was still very nice. Service was great !
There is also a small bookstore next door where you can purchase candles, incense, crystals, etc. I'm definitely going back !
Spectacular location. Absolutely beautiful, romantic. The flowers and twinkly lights and chandeliers were everything I've ever wanted in a romantic evening. Food was divine. Service was a bit slow, but I'd still come back because you just cant beat the setting.
Romantic ambience and delicious food made with quality ingredients! All the lights strung up around the fountain area and the light piano music makes you feel like you're having a romantic dinner in a movie setting. Every bite of food was beyond satisfying. I celebrated my anniversary here with my boyfriend and it was absolutely perfect. Would highly recommend if you want to splurge a bit on a special occasion.
My wife held my birthday brunch at the Seventh Ray with a dozen guests. The service was impeccable (Christian was our waiter). The ambiance was delightful. And they had just the day before reopened after the Thousand Oaks/Malibu fire and our concerns were unnecessary as everything was wonderful. The brunch food was superb. One criticism, and a minor one, the crab legs were a little too salty, but maybe that wasn't their fault. Everyone in our party, except my wife, was there for the 1st time. Everyone was very impressed! 5 stars!
What a fabulous find on Old Topanga Road in Topanga Canyon. My companion has been here many times over a long period of time and was anxious for me to have a lovely meal in an absolutely beautiful, peaceful setting. Neither of us was disappointed. This was not the kind of place that I would have expected to find in this area. You enter the dining area by passing a little shop and walking down some really pretty Stone stairs into what looks kind of like a little mini rainforest. There are tables that are in very intimate areas that have been carved out of the forest and there are a number of tables that are just randomly spread through an area that is covered by a gazebo that lets a lot of light in. The menu is limited but it's diverse and you can enjoy salads or sandwiches or a whole bunch of other things while listening to the sound of a little waterfall and a running creek under lush green forest. We both had the grilled cheese with basil on black bread and shared an apple crisp for dessert. All the food was very good and the scenery is inspiring and we were able to have a very deep conversation in peace and quiet and got a lot accomplished in addition to having a very lovely meal. If you're in the area I'd recommend that you seek this place out on Old Topanga Canyon Road and be prepared to experience good food in a beautiful location that you won't soon forget. We watched a wedding planner talk to prospective brides and grooms and describe what would likely be gorgeous events that could be held there. I've never been for a wedding or a reception but I can imagine it would make for beautiful pictures.
the ray of transformation. ...dine by candlelight under the stars, grand old sycamores, waterfalls along winding brick pathways. We offer an atmosphere unlike any other in the Los Angeles area, and a chef who is constantly reimagining what great food should be.

The soup is made with the vibrations of the day. Good food, excellent spot, nice atmosphere. It's not the view you think of when you think view, but the place is absolutely lovely. It's inside a canyon and there's a little stream running by (when they aren't in a drought).
