The best compliment I can give Alpine Village is that it is a place that time forgot. Is it the 1960's, 70's or 80's in this spacious venue for dancing, German beer drinking and German/Alpine food binging? The answer is it doesn't matter. After one short visit (with many more to come) I love this place. My wife and I ordered the sausage sampler with cucumber salad and sauerkraut as sides. It was indeed a sampler as I'm not sure I got enough polish sausage, bratwurst and knockwurst to give a full review but it was not bad. Will order much more of the wurst on the next visit. We wanted the pretzel - a staple of any German restaurant - but they were out, which was disappointing and strange. But from my quick one hour visit, this place isn't about the food. There is a very large dance floor and my wife and 4 yr old were dancing next to multiple "senior" couples dressed in their Sunday best rock the tunes of the one man band who rock polka style tunes from the Beatles and NSYNC (typically a negative but not at the moment, in the moment). It was all fun. Even through the eyes of this serious German beer and food fan, I cant wait to go back.
This restaurant is surely one of the most attractive restaurants in the neighborhood. Always when I go there I am highly happy. They hold their high standard service and the topmost level of dishes they give. You definitely will enjoy this this place. Very recommended.
This place is special to me. I have been comming here since I was a teenager. It was a destination place for my father a Scandinavian immigrant. We could get imported foods and he could visit fellow immigrant friends. The fresh meats, cheeses and bakery items are amazing. I love being able to try wines and beers from around the world.
Saddest part is the loss of many of the old world shops.
Stopped in for a quick bit while at the October fest. I definitely recommend the October fest and the restaurant is authentic German from the food to the service behind it! We had the sliders, shared a pretzel, and a friend of mine get the hot dog. Which I definitely want to recommend everything it was some of the best food to pair with beer!
Amazing environment and super affable service. The food was fresh and delightful. Will absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Convenient prices and large meals. Keep it up.

We asked the restaurant if we could just have our guests That said, the Alpine Village Market on the same property has some things that are more authentic and pretty good, so it's best to just get ingredients...

(310) 327-2483. For service I give Alpine Village 1/5. The other waitress working tables near time seemed attentive and friendly. If my waitress was not supposed to be working that section, why not seat me somewhere else?
