    This trail is great. Not too hard at the beginning, but it does go on for miles.

    This is going to be one of my favorite trails. A lot of shade and beautiful fall colors at this time of year. Popular spot but we had no trouble with parking. Most people seem to be able to park at the closest lot.

    Be sure to have the adventure pass before driving up (and down).

    NOTE: the sign for the picnic area IS the trail head.

    So many trees! Living in LA, you don’t get to see a lot of foliage so the Switzer Falls trail was a great way to see some nature! The hike is beautiful but the falls weren’t really flowing. Our dog loved splashing in all the small streams and, for most of the hike, we didn’t really see other people. Coming from the city, you’ll be struck by how quiet the trail can be. I cannot wait to go back!

    Beautiful place to spend the day. I went during the week and only encountered several people. I read the weekends are really crowded. The only downfall is there was very little water there this time of year. I will go again in the winter and hopefully the water level will have risen. The trail is well maintained and I had no trouble with parking. The bathroom was clean as well. My dog had a wonderful time.. Definitely worth your time to check it out.

    One of the best hiking spots I know... there is shade for almost all of the hike. The micro climate this shade creates is fantastic with ferns and other wildlife which is rare to see in the area.
