  Great place to just get away from everything. There are some good easy hikes for families.

  This is the second of two Nature Centers on the historic Angels Crest Highway that runs from La Canada to Wrightwood. I highly recommend visiting both the Chilao Visitor Center and this one, Grassy Hollow Visitor Center. They have some cool taxidermy and other fun things for kids. They have a push button opposites video series about different animals and lift the flap wall information that is easy to miss as it blends into a mural. They have a binocular station on the deck where you can do some amazing bird watching!!!
  
  They also have a bunch of free Smoky Bear swag! We even got a frisbee! Both these nature centers provided a ton of fun for our family! Great stop!

  Not much to it and all the "do not touch" signs are off putting but, the Rangers are friendly and helpful. Hike the Vincent Gap Mine Trail nearby, it's awesome!

  Love it.... Serene and places to do your business. Bring citronella candle.. Lots of flies right now. There are snake advisories and we saw 2.
