Excellent! I can't praise them enough! They are friendly, professional, and very hard-working. They let me know what needed to be done, how much it would cost, as well as giving me options that were cost efficient but still good for me. They were even willing to stay past their closing time to make sure the work got done. John, the clerk, was especially friendly, letting me know what my options were, being considerate of my financial situation, and answered my initial questions. And José, the mechanic, was very patient and answered my follow-up questions about the work, as well as explaining what the best course of action would be so that I could drive my car without incident. They both were great, and I am most definitely bringing my car back to them for future services. In all the years I've had my car serviced, this is undoubtedly the BEST mechanic shop I've visited. Hands down. Thank you, John and José, very much. I will definitely be recommending you and your shop to everyone!

This company is one for the books. My car had blown a tire, and it was 10 minutes till 5pm on a Friday no less, I didn't have a spare (only found out when I blew the tire), so I looked up tire shops near me in Google, they were the 3rd call I made as the first two had told me they were already closing and getting ready to go home.

It was now 5;minutes till 5pm and they answered, I explained the situation, and he put me on hold, and got back in with me and told me he got one of his co-workers to help him, and THEY came to ME, they lifted my car there in the parking lot of Kohl's, took my tire off and ran it back to the shop as I waited.

The gentleman who I spoke with had called me to tell me they didn't have that tire in stock, but that he had one at one of their other stores, they just had to go get it, and he was calling me to make sure I was okay with them taking a bit longer as they were going to get the tire, & wanted to make sure it was okay with me they take a little bit longer so they can get the tire, I was like R U KIDDING ME?? within my own thoughts, and So i said of course.

By the time everything was all said and done, it was almost 7:00pm and those two very kind and generous men had not shown me a single sense of resentment for taking their time to help a total stranger out. If I could give more stars I really would they went above and beyond what was expected, which was everything as it was already after 5pm when they started out to come to me. So everyone, If you want an HONEST, KiND, & Very POSITIVE Mechanic, this would be the place to go to, I have been back once so far, but they will now have all my mechanical automotive business.

New mechanics Jose and John are setting up to sell tires in addition to having already established an excellent repair shop.

Finding a guy like Dave is like finding a unicorn - there aren't many mechanics out there who understand the workings of an older VW. These aren't the simple "plug in the diagnostic device and read the error code" type of cars. Working on these requires extensive knowledge of the whole system. This man has been working on them for 35+ years.

In the last year, my aircooled Vanagon has been to 5 mechanics, including a supposed "VW specialist", but Dave has been the first to really spend the time and care to diagnose the core engine issues and fix them, and not just put a bandaid on it. I am very gracious for his knowledge and willingness to help get her running again! I don't trust anyone else to work on her.

I found Dave by sheer luck and good reviews a few years ago and I have since came back to him 3 more times. He's a genius with my older Audi and its obscure issues. He's has plenty of chances to take advantage of me, but never has. Integrity has a price, and its fair.
