(December 26, 2019, 12:18 pm)My daughter was transferred to Whittier from another hospital . Insurance reasons. My daughter was severely ill. The level of care giving here is amazing the nursing staff on the 2nd floor is awesome! So many wonderful nurses like Wendy and Yasmin! There were a few others but I can’t remember the names . Also the Cna’s were very nice and helpful! My daughter is having surgery today! Thanks again for all your help!

(October 31, 2019, 9:53 pm)Highly recommend this hospital for anyone that is giving birth. I'm a first time mom i came in 2 weeks ago for labor. Prior to that i was worried where I'd give birth, I came here for the tour & the staff was real nice had alot of perks as well: breast feeding classes, childbirth classes ect... When i came in i didn't expect to be in labor & the staff was amazing got me into a room right away they were attentive also had the privilege to have the Nurse Director Lorri assist in my labor and I cannot praise her enough for such a great job she did. Making me and my family members feel comfortable, she had us laughing half of the time.Truly a great experience. She made my Delivery first priority coach me through it all. The Dr was also good knew exactly what he was doing i had a fast delivery. Postpartum care was great, i got my own private room it was very clean, my husband was able to sleep over. The nurses were on top of everything they answered all my questions even helped me get a free breast pump from my insurance also helped with lactation questions.
Bonus perks also include free car seat ???? & a first free lunch or dinner with your significant other which is nice too.
I truly appreciate the Labor & Delivery staff members here they are type of Nurses that come into work loving their jobs ready to help the patients. ❤ -

(July 23, 2019, 6:17 pm)This hospital is superb. From the doctors to the nurses and other hospital personnel except the admitting lady who never smile as if she doesn't like her job. This is our family hospital. Mom, Dad been here many times. My son was born here as well. We preferred this small hospital as we have always been treated like a family. Thank you Whittier Hospital!
