Has delivered both my daughters 14 & 15 years ago. I have switch primary doctors several times just to stay with him. Yes I think he has delivered half of Whittier children but he is great. They office girls are the best and on top of everything thing. ????????????????????
Amazing Doctor! Dr Purdom is the man every pregnant woman needs to deliver her baby. I gained 50lbs with my first daughter and he didn't even blink an eye. My daughter ended up being Frank Breech and I had to have a Csection. I had planned on a vaginal birth and was very much looking foward to the "it's time" moment. Once he explained that I was going to need a Csection I sobbed. In less than 5 minutes, he not only had me dry eyed, but looking foward to a csection. A surgery should be an awful experience, yet he made it fun and enjoyable. In fact (knowing my husband and I are huge sports fans) he told me that they were going to "hurry it up" because the Laker game was on! I didn't expect to be laughing while pinned down to a hospital bed numb from the middle of my back down. I am pregnant with my second daughter and about to have another csection on the 28th of Feb. I am not quite looking forward to the Csection recovery with a newborn and a 3 1/2 year old, but what I do know is I am in the most capable hands in Southern California. My daughter has come to every Dr's appointment and has decided she wants to be a Dr just like Dr Purdom. I love him, my husband loves him and my 3 1/2 year old daughter wants to be like him. Can't ask for a better Dr than that!
