Whittier Turnbull Canyon Hiking Trail

  This is a wonderful trail that is surprisingly wide. Many families walk this trail especially in the summer months with daylight savings. The problem with this trail is not the trail! It's the total lack of parking and the limited hours. It closes too early although I've never seen rangers issuing citations. And you literally have to park about a mile away on Hadley or any other street without permit restrictions. Clearly, the city or residents do not want the hiking traffic.

  I love coming here all the time and just looking at the view up here. The scenery is amazing and there's not a lot of people up here so it's perfect if you just want a peaceful place to be by yourself or friends. There is some wildlife here like deer and snakes, but not much else. It's also a fun place to mountain bike. It's not challenging and there are a few hills to keep the heart rate up for both runners and cyclists.

  Great hiking experience one of the best in LA county. If your looking for a all round hiking experience this is the place to go. You have. Easy trails and you have hard trails.

  Great experience, trail is challenging and steep. Make sure you take water and good grip shoes. The view is amazing! Gas station is not to far from the tail as well just incase your like me and need to rush to a station.

  Very cool trail. You don't have to be an expert hiker. Lots of friendly people on the trail. Connects to 3 other trails. Can spend all day there
