“Great experience with the staff. Today i was there, met Frank Strong, Yolanda Zimmerman and Rosa Hilario. Professional friendly staff. Nice waiting room, with Aquarium. I got some new hearing aids with Blue Tooth connectivity. They explained how to charge the batteries..no more having to purchase batteries. I can now use my smart cell phone to adjust the volume of the hearing aids. Also when i get a phone call, i can receive and talk to the person calling me, by pressing an icon on the cell phone and the voice audio goes directly into my hearing aid. Also when i dive and use the cell phone as a GPS, the voice directions go directly into my hearing aids. Very happy with the service and the smart hearing aid. I think the hearing aid is smarter than me. There is ample parking on the private parking lot for the clients and on the street.”

“Dr. V is the absolute best doctor to have, no questions asked. I went to college and studied microbiology, doing so trained me to read scientific literature, which is both a blessing and a curse. A curse because I’m a hypochondriac who always goes down the rabbit hole whenever I look for symptoms to self diagnose myself. A pre-appointment conversation on my end usually goes like, “Dr. V, my left ear pops infrequently when I do nothing, I think it might be a brain tumor or an aneurysm.” I’ll go and he’ll take his time to do my check up, he cuts no corners and is very thorough with his explanations. He lets you talk, I’m very descriptive with my symptoms and he listens to everything I have to say. He never rushes me or cuts me off. He’s even gone to the lengths of analyzing and interpreting my chest X-rays from another Kaiser facility (Downey) that neglected to provide any results, let alone comments or reassurance that I was fine. He is badass, excuse my language. He became my doctor a month after I turned 18, he did everything in his power to grant me reassurance during a colon cancer scare that I had back when I was a pup. I am 25 now, I see him frequently and by the looks of it, he already knows who I am (I would assume, just based off the dialogues that we have). Out of the multiple visits that I’ve had with him, I’ve never had any issues with him. He’s a great human being, the type to shake a patients hand after he’s done with them. He always tells me, “when you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras.” Which is great words for someone who worries about their health all the time and always assumes the worst.
