“Pretty good service for a doctor's appointment. Be careful with time and schedule more than expected in your personal schedule because things tend to go over in any medical office. There seems to only be one nurse, but not many people come in. At first, I had to fill out usual paperwork for my first visit about my health, and then I paid my copay (from my insurance) and waited to see the doctor. Due to another patient also being new but having difficulty writing out the forms, it took a while for me to get a room (not the fault of the facility) because the nurse had to help her fill them out. Once in the room, the doctor finished with the previous person and came to see me. We had a quick chat about ourselves and what we do. Dr. To seemed interested about me and asked questions about what I did and the like. Fortunately, I had similar experiences with him in attending a UC and doing the same study abroad program, so we talked quite often about that. While conversing, he did the basic checkup and went through the laboratory procedures I needed. Besides conversing, it was a very productive trip where he handed me the lab request and told me to go across the street to another plaza for the lab. The whole ordeal took about 40 minutes (mainly due to paperwork), but the doctor seemed engaging and quick to do what you have to do. I will definitely come back and keep seeing him as my primary care doctor.”
