“I have had 3 plastic surgeries (breast augmentation, renuvion & Squlpt petite bbl with 360 lipo) and this last one was at Squlpt on June 12. I was nervous because it was going to be my first awake procedure. When I arrived the nurses were very friendly and went beyond to make me feel at ease and comfortable. They were all happy and the atmosphere was lively. Which was what I needed to lift my anxious mood. Every step was explained to me along the way. When Dr. Spivak came in to see me, he was very charismatic. Unlike my previous 2 doctors who came in, sat down and told me their game plan in 2 minutes, Dr. Spivak sat down and took his time. It was about what I wanted out of the procedure, how I was feeling, etc. he reassured me and I quickly felt calm. He pointed out some areas that were not perfect from previous surgery and to my surprise he said he could help make them better. He was very knowledgeable and I felt like we were a team. The procedure was so much better than what I anticipated! I was very calm and felt no pain when he made the incisions. I have never had laughing gas and it was great. The nurse was right by my side and the doctor explained each step before he did it. There were a couple tender spots during the procedure and I just let him know, he numbed them and that was that. The doctor also started a group text with my husband and let him know how things were going and to go pick up my meds. The procedure felt super fast- it did not feel like it was dragging on. The doctor and nurse talked to my husband at pick up and we had the doctor's cell number in case we needed to get a hold of him. The next day a nurse called me and I was also sent a text message that I could text in case I needed anything. Day 3 another nurse called to make sure I was doing good and answer any questions. That following Sunday, day 7, Dr Spivak messaged my husband and I to check and see how I was feeling. I had sent him pictures of day 5 so he could see my progress. He gave me some sleeping pointers and wished my husband happy Father's Day. Yup- he took the time out of his Father's day to see how I was doing. My other 2 procedures I only had check-ins from the nurses- never the doctor. It was very nice of him. I am towards the end of week 2 of recovery and feeling great. It's a BIG difference from the last procedures under anesthesia. Soreness and bruising is expected like the other times but I loved that I didn't have narcotics prescribed because those make me sick and loopy. Last year I had renuvion (laser skin shrinking) and that was more tender, and longer than this time around. Every body heals differently and by day 7 I was back to normal. My results so far are amazing!! My previous procedure had left a patch of wrinkly skin and it's gone! My butt looks so good and natural. I had a boxy frame and for the first time I have a shape. I have hips and a waist!! After 3 kids I look and feel amazing. Dr Spivak is an artist and I highly recommend Squlpt. I had read the reviews on Squlpt before my procedure, and there were a couple of negative reviews but even my previous 2 surgeons have negative reviews and I thought they were amazing surgeons. Honestly I was super nervous but the whole staff and atmosphere at Squlpt was warm and nurturing. I am so thankful for everyone there and I can't wait to see how much better my body looks as I keep healing. If you have any hesitation- don't! Focus on your goal, read the good review and message them. Thank you Dr Spivak!”

There was a language barrier though (they speak Korean), but nevertheless, great job.
