“Today my 6 year old grandson and I parked near Station #82 to walk over to see the La Canada Tournament of Roses float. As we passed in front of the station, the doors opened and two trucks pulled in. My grandson, Liam, was so excited. One firefighter got off the truck and brought him a sticker badge as "jr firefighter". We walked over to see the float, but Liam wanted to go back to the station to wait for the other two trucks. We waited on the corner as the other two trucks pulled in to the station, giving us a honk as we waved. The other two firefighters talked with us for another 10 minutes as Liam described details of the trucks. They were all so friendly and awesome and created great memories for him. It was the hightlight of my grandson's week. Thank you all so much. I am sorry I didn't get any names, but it was about 1:30 pm on 12/28/17. Thank you station #82.”
