“There are many Martial Arts out there, many schools, many studios and dojos to choose from ... Which Art will work for you and which art won't ? Some demand a lot of upper body strength, some demand extreme flexibility and agility (flying spinning leg kicks) and many arts will demand years and years of very strict practice "to be effective". We all have physical limitations due to age, prior injuries or like many of us just being out of shape ... What differs Kung Fu San Soo from many other arts, is that Kung Fu San Soo adapts to you and not the other way around and one can be very effective within just a couple of months of training. The two Masters (husband and wife team) who own the school and teach, are dedicated and committed about sharing their knowledge and passion for this art with each and everyone of their students from the Junior Dragons class (kid's class) to the most advanced students, black belts and Masters that trains there. Higher ranked belt take new students "under their wings" to show them and help them improve in whatever area they need. There are no egos or attitudes and it is a family away from home for many students. You will have a fun time and a great workout while studying a very effective art. The office is nestled in a residential part of Pomona and offers a quaint, comfy atmosphere. Hot coffee and hot chocolate are always offered along with a smile from his friendly receptionist, Dianna. “I was concerned when I read the other reviews, but since Dr. Vee was the only doctor that our health plan would allow us to transfer to in an emergency, I had to go to this office. I showed up to their office at 9 AM without an appt for my son. I was quickly greeted by the front desk staff and taken care of. They sent my son’s referral request the same day. I've called the office several times and they have always answered and been very professional and have always followed up with any needed request. The service was amazing for me and my son. “This family run, small business is incredible. Dr. Amy Wang is a wonderful person who cares for her patients and doesn't push products and sales aggressively, unlike other places. Since it's a small business, she is able to take the time with patients. A top notch optometrist, up to date on the latest technology and studies plus is in touch with other medical professionals who might help patients if they needed. My husband was experiencing loss of vision in his right eye that lasted a half hour and Dr. Amy was there for us. We have recommended friends to her who love her and the sparkling clean, beautiful office & facilities. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”
