“It was a godsend that we found Affordable B&C. My uncle had a debilitating stroke and could no longer live alone. It took extra days in the hospital for him to agree. The minute I stepped in the door, I knew this was the place for him. The home is well decorated and is very clean. The owners are extremely kind and caring, did I mention they are nurses? He got a great room with a view of the street and hills. He really liked it and the staff. They are very attentive and did everything they could to make him comfortable. Because he had difficulty eating, they pureed his food and picked up drinks and snacks to entice him to eat. This was home cooking, not from can. You would never get this in an institutional setting. Vilbert always kept me up to date on his health status. My uncle recently passed there and I am so thankful for the care he got and the support they gave me. Okay, now I'm tearing up. As a care giver, it was so important for my peace of mind that he was in a good place, particularly since it was so hard on my uncle to lose his independence. They deserve a galaxy of stars.”
