“Amazing place to buy dried chinese herbs and imported snacks and foods. I started coming here as a kid with my mom, and now they’ve expanded to a fresh veggie section. You can do a Chinese medicine consultation (TCM) or acupuncture in the herb section in the back of the store. They also have lots of grains that are used by western people, such as quinoa, oats, barely, millet, sesame, packaged unsalted nuts, etc. Great prices compared to the big fancy markets.”

“Dr. Rosado is GREAT! When I had my first child 26 years ago, I took her to urgent care in Montebello, when she was a few weeks old (1995) Our Story began then. I was a new mom and I was concerned about something that now I find kind of funny (something I wouldn't bother a doc with) She was so kind and so compassionate and I fell in LOVE with the way she managed the appointment. I immediately changed my then baby's (Now grown woman) Primary Care Pediatrician. So now I have 3 girls, 26, 19 and 12. I have needed to change insurances throughout the years, and I kid you not, my driving force is to make sure she is in whatever plan or Insurance Company I choose. I warn her not to retire until (at least) my 12 year old is an adult. 6 more years Doctor Rosado!!! ”

“Dr. Patrick Johnson is an amazing surgeon and his staff, Peggy Mays and Jodi Ladge are equally outstanding.. Dr. Johnson was my third top specialist to render an opinion about my cervical discs which were a real problem so much so that the doctors felt I could become paralyzed if I fell. The spine and spinal cord were 5mm a part from one another so this could have been a real issue in the future. This coupled with my age of 70 and a heart issue made the decision to operate even more daunting. After my visit with Dr. Johnson I was clear I needed to do this and that he was the doctor to get it done properly. I had great confidence going into the surgery but won't minimize my fear of surgery too. I received excellent care throughout with insight as to the process, how to prepare with post-surgery and my follow-up visits by his very responsive team. I knew I always wanted to do artificial discs over a fusion and that is exactly what I had at two levels. C5-6 and C6-7. I also had a wonderful anesthesiologist who specialized in individuals with heart issues which was arranged by their office I believe. This also contributed to my level of confidence in my care and outcome. My most recent X-rays showed the proper placement of the two discs. While I did have pain during the recovery, Peggy and Jodie made me feel that what I was feeling was what most who have have the same procedure feel as well which was reassuring and helped me know that any pain would pass during a 4 -6 week period.. I was so happy to hear that Dr. Johnson had done so many of these cervical artificial disc so was very confident that mine would work out well too. He answered all of my questions when I saw him and if he was unavailable by phone Jodie and Peggy sought the answers to get back to me right away. I definitely feel like I picked the right doctor on many levels to do the surgery on my neck. I am glad this surgery is over. Kudos to a great surgeon and his terrific team.”

“I am dying of back pain. I picked this facility because of its ratings and its location to my office. I had my doctor fax over my prescription four physical therapy over a month ago. I haven't received any phone calls and have tried to call them numerous times over the course of the month. The voicemail is full and nobody ever picks up the phone. I went there physically and there was no one at the counter, no one present to realize there was six elderly people sitting waiting for service. I spoke to one of the employees on the way out as they were coming in, and still no changes. I finally received my rehab from this facility. I have to admit, they did a 180 degree. They were kind and prompt. The only downside is that the routines become monotinous. After two or three visits, I was on autopilot.”
