“I worked as companion for a resident of PSL and found the staff to be attentive, friendly and easy to work with. They provide 24hr care and have a passion for their work and a genuine desire to help those living under their care. Many of their residents are ultimately able to reintegrate as functional members of society. I would definitely recommend PSL as a place for both short and long term rehabilitation programs ranging across a broad spectrum of mental illnesses and addiction issues.”

“This is a top notch place! Everyone in this office is professional and courteous. They were attentive from before and after the surgery. Dr. Amoils' work is amazing and he was there even on the weekends to talk and answer questions. Dr. Ma the anesthesiologist was also wonderful and checked in on me after the surgery. And Neda, who is a member of the medical staff, rocks! She was there every step of the way. But like I said, the whole staff is awesome. I would definitely recommend this center.”

“I am editing my review a year later to say that we have loved New Horizon Academy so much over the past 2.5 years! We unfortunately are moving and will be no longer able to attend. We can not thank all of the wonderful staff enough for all of their hard work, their dedication to the children and families and for loving our child like their own! We will miss New Horizon Academy Minnetonka immensely!! We love New Horizon Academy Minnetonka! The center is both clean and inviting and the staff is amazing. I love to see our son (as well as the other children in his classroom) visibly having fun and happy when I drop him off and pick him up at the end of the day. I feel so comfortable having him in the care of the wonderful staff here-especially Maggie and Jennifer and his amazing teachers Ms. Beth, Ms. Rachel and Ms. Taylor. “Dr. Pick is amazing! I was referred to him after a partial wisdom tooth extraction that left roots behind. It was a daunting case, since there was little to grasp of the roots and I was quite swollen; but Dr. Pick carefully analyzed my situation and explained his approach. He was very reassuring and responsive, and he went right to work. The procedure was completed successfully in surprisingly little time. The staff was so friendly, and as strange as it might seem, this visit to the oral surgeon was pleasant! Pick is the real deal!”

“It's been many years since I went for an eye exam but went to this one after being at home all the time from the pandemic (1 year) and developing digital eye strain and this optometrist was near my home and Dr. Liza was wonderful, down to earth, kindly explaining everything. If you're nervous about seeing an eye doc, this doctor here will cheer you up right away and make your visit pleasant. Staff were kind and sanitized all their equipment in between patients. Check it out if you're near Pico Rivera. :)”
