“I was working overtime and this spot was close by. Got me an excellent coffee with a protein box. Definitely a Solid spot to get my protein egg box along with a Honey Almond Milk latte. The coffee was amazing and The protein box was great with the fruit being pretty fresh. A great combo to start of the morning and get your sustenance. Definitely a great spot to get your coffee but parking is limited.”

“This was my first time trying the place. The customer service was amazing and guy was extremely friendly and helped us with ordering. The amount of food you get is definitely worth the money you pay. Everything was warm and fresh and the soda was very cold and nice. I recommend this place!!”

“Really good tacos. Choice of chicken, steak, pastor, pork belly, ribs or you can get a dirty dog. They were out of the pastor so I ordered steak and ribs. They were both great. The ribs were really really good. Then he gave us a pork belly taco on the house and that was great too. Top notch customer service. Husband and wife(?) were very sweet and super nice. Lots of people rolling through on a late night so it’s definitely a well known spot.”

“Food was amazing! My partner got the jambalaya and I got the chicken marsala. Huge portions and very flavorful. We were there for our anniversary and the ambience was perfect. Very romantic and smooth jazz playing in the background softly. Parking is a pain for sure but definitely worth it.”

“For many years I had gone passed this place, being that it is in the industrial/commercial side of Alhambra and would always be closed. But this place is freaking great, you have to look out for it as it is hidden from the main Street. The place looks small from the outside, but it's big inside..The food is great, just go and try it if, you are craving Mexican.”

“My to-go place for spicy tuna bowls. It’s the best I found yet, and I’m from Hawaii if that helps :) it’s a 20min drive for me but totally worth it. Portions are great and it’s always consistent. They have stamp cards and I’ve already filled a few, getting a free medium bowl each time :) and the price is good.. I feel the other places around charge an arm and a leg”

“All their pasta is made fresh and in house. From the first bite you can tell the difference in taste and texture. Their pizzas are absolutely delicious, thick layer of cheese and plentiful toppings. Don’t shy away from their side salad either. They also have an all you can eat pasta option for those of you that are super hungry. They have a small parking lot in front and in the back, but there’s usually street parking available. If you love that old world vibe, dim lighting, red vinyl booths, you’ll enjoy the atmosphere here. Same owners as Chi-Chi’s pizza, but this is the original restaurant and location.”

“I visited Duck House Restaurant to meet with my previous supervisor, and she picked a corner table up front that was very private, quiet and bright. We ordered several items on the menu. I had never had Peking Duck so she showed me how to wrap it and eat it. Basically into the rice skin, with onions and sauce. We also tried a pulled tofu dish, the green bean pork, a crispy rice pancake, and eggplant dish. Everything was delicious.”

“This place is a gem! Amazing sushi everytime, always hits the spot. The service just adds onto the positive experience, people are very friendly and they serve you right away. Nicely kept and clean. My favorite items on the menu include the vegan ramen, dragon roll, alaska roll, cucumber salad and the tempura green tea ice cream. I am sure everything else on the menu is just as good, always love to experience at this place.”

“I came here for a quick bite and some coffee. It’s a very large Starbucks with a lot of room to sit or stand. The employees are nice and it’s clean. There’s a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. The parking is a bit odd, but there’s a large lot adjacent that it shares with other businesses. Overall quick and easy to get to, and a good place for a snack.”

“We rediscovered this spot during the pandemic and had an amazing dinner the first time we visited. This past weekend, we decided on a brunch, and I do have to say, this restaurant is definitely a dinner recommendation from me. The weekend brunch is filled with folks trying to get their bottomless mimosas in, and frankly, that’s just not the kind of crowd I want to be around. But all businesses deserve to make their money, so be warned that’s what you may run into on a Saturday or Sunday. As for the food, they have some really imaginative creations. Kudos to the chef!! We really enjoyed all of the dishes we ordered during our dinner and our brunch. The food is what will get us to come back again and again. And what a variety of flavors and dishes. There really is something for everyone! This is a tapas style place, so if you’re a light eater but want to enjoy some variety, I’d say 3-4 dishes should do it for you and one other guest. If you’re a super light eater, than the two of you can get away with 3 dishes, especially if you’re going to enjoy some drinks. The patio of the restaurant is very cute at night, but during the day, you can see the true state of the place which needs some updating. I’d say the one really terrible part of the restaurant is the bathroom off the patio. It’s disgusting and quite horrifying; I’m surprised they tell customers to use it. Please put some money to make this acceptable!”

“Saw they were under new management so decided to try despite the meh reviews. Got a XL pepperoni pizza and fries for $25, so fantastic deal. Pizza was pretty good, especially for the price — a little too much crust for my liking. Would go back!”

“Enjoyed the food very much. Service was awesome. Octopus tacos, shrimp fried tacos, regular tacos, chiveche, and shrimp cocktail were all good. Pro Tip: Thursdays have specials! Update: service is still too notched. Food is still amazing.”

“Ordered a #6 costing me $15.71. The food looks as good as the photos suggest, but I wouldn't order to dine in. Take it to go for sure. They add a surcharge for using debit, but hey, economics and inflation. I dont think its worth getting the combo. I got like 5 chips with my sides, and they weren't all that fresh. To make more of your money, just get the mains, the rice is good, great pastor cripsy and tasty, quesadilla too. Just no service inside at all. The lady looked at me waiting to see me get my food, Im like alright no problem if you were swamped, but I was the only customer here. Felt kinda ignored, just grab and go, that's all. There are better places to go and sit down and eat.”

“Fei Xiang Gong restaurant truly deserves a stellar five-star rating for its outstanding offering of fresh and delectable meat dishes. While the side dishes might be limited, the sheer variety and abundance of meat choices never fail to put a smile on my face. The flavors and quality of their meats are consistently excellent, making every visit a delightful culinary experience. However, I must note that the Valet service can be a letdown, as the guy on duty is consistently rude, which taints the overall dining experience. The building management should seriously consider making a change in their Valet team. Despite this minor hiccup, I find Fei Xiang Gong's offerings truly exceptional and will gladly return for their mouthwatering meats”

“Wasn't busy on the Monday we went for lunch. Food was delicious. Will definitely eat hear here again. Everything it's pretty much Ala-Carte, so it's the perfect place to go as a family or group of friends or co-workers so you can enjoy a bigger variety of different dishes. They have some great appetizers, dumplings and grilled pork rolls. I believe we were served by the owners, they seemed very nice and welcoming.”

“Amazing quality & fresh VEGAN food! #18 is the vermicelli bowl w/2 spring rolls - which has chopped lettuce underneath the rice noodles (so it looks like a lot. FYI, getting extra food in a Chinese restaurant is awesome & a blessing!!!) This dish was served with vegan fish sauce! (*I tried asking for the secret recipe & was denied 🤣). My mom wanted the tomato-based soup w/noodles, which was delightful! I really like the house-made tofu because they tasted like fish cakes! We had spring rolls w/peanut sauce (because we requested to it instead of fish sauce) and that was light & flavorful too. I ordered the #6 which the pan fried thick rice noodles w/veggies - this has been my favorite! (Sorry I didn’t include a pic…I ate it too quickly!) Overall, the staff is friendly & knowledgeable of vegan food. I think the prices are very good for unique, tasty, & fresh VEGAN food! I would come back again ❤️”

“Always delicious and pretty quick from ordering to table. Always, always, always have to order mojos and friend chicken with the pizza when you’re here, otherwise you’re missing out. Only reason it’s not a 5 star is because it’s usually super loud (makes sense with lots of families here). Been eating at shaky’s since I was a kid and still love it”
