“Literally the best tacos I have had since moving to California. The setup is a bit uncleanly, but nothing I would lose any sleep over, and they're made true to the TJ street stand style. The salsas are fresh and homemade with a very spicy kick, and all the ingredients are fresh as well, with the tortillas fried in the same oil as the meat, giving everything the perfect flavor. Great variety, with everything from AUTHENTIC Carne Asada to Tripe, I am truly addicted to these things. ”

“CASH ONLY at the moment. Entrance is in the rear side, like if you are going to the car wash. Clean space for about 50 people. They have high tables and regular size tables. Have 2 children's high chair. They offer you complementary tortilla chips and salsa. Took about 15 minutes to get my food. I ordered the cilantro roll, which has shrimp, cucumber, jalapeno, cilantro, salmon and avocado. On the side I got shiracha, soy sauce, and ginger. It was fresh and delicious!! They are currently not licensed for alcohol. I see myself coming here often.”

The industrial look for a restaurant seems gritty but the people here give it such a welcoming and relaxing vibe that I can spend hours at this place. My go to, mainly for breakfast is the Bolt Bowl: broccolini, Italian sausage, eggs over easy. Simple and delicious. Also I'll usually eat outside in the patio since theres less distractions besides the usual pup or two. The list of pastries they have is amazing as well. Theres also a lunch and dinner with an extended beer and wine menu which I haven't had a chance to try yet.”

As an Italian American I've never had someone come so close to preparing food as close to my NaNa's. From the Sicilian Candy (that seemingly no one can ever get right, to an Eggplant so perfect, it literally brought tears to my eyes. If Nana we're still alive I know as well she would rate the restaurant a 12 out of 10. When in the San Fran area, it is a must eat!!”
