“Great first experience trying a variety of items at Las Palmas! My wife and I found ourselves in need of some Mexican takeout enroute to visit our friends and see their new baby. If the new first time mom is craving Mexican food, you get her Mexican food. Being completely unfamiliar with Duarte we did a quick Google search and decided to give Las Palmas a try. It was the middle of the afternoon on a weekday so we had the place all to ourselves. As we sat at a table looking over the menu we were surprised to receive so much attention and so many free samples from the owner. The house made tortilla chips and salsa we terrific. They were light and super crunchy without a hint of greasyness. We were also treated to free samples of horchata and rice pudding. The horchata was so good that we decided to buy two. It was the best horchata that I have had in a long time. We decided to get one of each kind of taco, carne asada fries, and ribeye empanadas to share. Everything was very good. The quality of the beef stood out to me. It was flavorful, tender and moist, way better than the quality at the place around the corner in our neighborhood. My wife said that she really enjoyed the seafood tacos. My wow factor was the empanada. So amazing! I can only call the flavor mysterious. So savory but with a hint of sweetness that just felt right some how. The owner was very chatty. He told us all about how he had bought the restaurant eighteen months ago and was working on upgrading the quality of the entire menu. We hope that our friends are still craving Mexican food the next time we are in town for a visit. So, do yourself a favor and give this place a try soon.”

“Came with the family for dinner and it was just delicious. Game took really good care of us and every single item that we ordered was scrumptious! Worth the 30 minute drive any day. 7 sea soup, combination chow mein, combination fried rice, grilled pork, and spicy chicken with onion all good and highly recommended . Don’t confuse Ocha classic with the other Ocha down the street this one is by far the better one avoid the other one if possible. Can’t wait to come again with the family and I recommend you bring yours.”

“You think about getting ramen, but you want something healthier? Try rice noodles. LuDingJi will open your world to rice noodle soup. Parking is usually plenty, just go to their underground lot. The restaurant is relatively clean. Food is served pretty instantly, so that's great news for hangry (hungry and angry 🤣) customers. Servers are polite and friendly too. The only complaint I have is the lighting in this restaurant is kind of dark. To order, it's 3-step to get your bowl of rice noodle goodness: 1. Choose your soup base 2. Choose your entree 3. Choose your carbs, but really just get rice noodles! 👌 4. -- Side note: please get some add-ons as the dish doesn't come with many things. -- Food we ordered: - Tomato soup (8/10): For those who can't eat spice, this is Really REALLY GOOD! It's not too salty, the rice noodle textures were mildly chewy and tasty. I added fatty beef and some vegetables. Overall, the portion given is plenty. - Chili Pumpkin (10/10): A little spice, but this is probably my favorite hands down! The spice has a mild sweet-sour flavor to it. I really enjoyed this. - Shou Zhua Bing (6.5/10): This is basically roti canai with meat. I actually liked the dish. I gave it a low rating because I felt like the meat was cold but I thoroughly enjoyed the roti canai! Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants to try a ramen alternative. ✨🤤”

Their salsas can be a little bit on the spicier side for those who are sensitive to it, but if you are, I recommend the guacamole salsa as it is mild and creamy. Seeing as how they are open till 1:00 am most nights, it's an absolute great go-to for the neighborhood. They're usually quite busy, so be prepared to wait a little bit, which is a sign of it's success!”

The area is spacious and big TV to watch sports. The reason I gave 4 stars because there was a casino host name Jessica. All she does is shoeshine players and argue with players. There is no needs of her on floor. We had floor persons already. I am going stopping coming here due to her. Toxic environment at tile section because of her.”
