If you are on a 30 min break better order ahead because you will not make it out in time. “First time going to noodle world after an 8 hour hike with my brother and i. The first impression was how open the place was, nice decor with the atmosphere. When we ordered our dishes. I was a little shocked to see a drink menu containing smoothies, a great delight for being in the sun all day. Food was tasty, not too bland and not salty. The appetizer was perfect. My egg noodle soup with seafood and wonton made it appealing to the eye and better down the pallet. The only not interesting feel to the place was that the restroom was outside 40 ft from the exit in the rear. Maybe it's because it's an old building. It's not adequate when it rains. Overall, I was satisfied with customer service and the tasty noodles. The coconut smoothie I ordered was just perfect.”

“I was passing by this area and decided to stop by Waffle Studio for fun. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this place is! They have a variety of delicious waffles, teas, and coffees to choose from. I ordered the strawberry waffle, which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. It was so good that I almost finished it by myself. I also tried the house salted coffee and the coconut coffee blended, both of which were smooth and flavorful. The house salted coffee had a nice balance of sweet and salty, while the coconut coffee blended was creamy and refreshing. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the cafe was cozy and cute. They have a lot of decorations and seating options, perfect for a small chat or a relaxing break. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food and drinks. I would definitely come back here again and try their other waffle flavors, such as pandan, sesame. Waffle Studio is a hidden gem in South El Monte that deserves more recognition and customers. This restaurant has a pretty good taco combo plate with 3 tacos your choice meat, side of beans and rice and a drink. Hits the spot. Delicious tacos beans rice everything was tasty and pretty delicious good quality to my surprise. What I found with so many brick and mortar tacos places is there is mass production which skimps on quality and freshness. That was not the case here. The service is top notch. The guy that helped us was super energetic and friendly. Another quality that is lacking at taco places whether it's a taco stand or brick n mortar. Highly recommend.”

“Just don’t bother with the frozen pizza. Fresh is similar to back in Chicago, but they need to get in touch with Lou Malnati’s about par-baked / frozen pizza science. I’ve given it a shot too many times. Please update your instructions with complete and proper sentences + an expected total cooking time instead of what amounts to “just keep going till it’s right” Whats with the sticker now having extra instructions? Just choose one or the other. If the pizza is soggy just pop it in at a different temp maybe covered or uncovered - keep cooking and get your kitchen thermometer out to insert into the pizza until it’s the “right temp” - doesn’t mention the target temperature. And nobody is trying to get a thermometer involved with pizza anyway. Pretty solid when fresh though. So this was more of a heads up on the take home pies. The next update to the instructions better be the addition of a QR code linking to a video of an Italian grandmother following each step as written. No cuts, I want to see how long this actually takes back in the old country 👵🤌”

“Ahhh!!! I really like it here. I’ve only gone a few times but from those times, I have had a great experience. The staff are very nice and even make sure to ask if you have any questions. The drinks are made quick (within minutes after ordering) and they’re pretty good too!! I also love the vibe of the place in general. The price per drink is also very good too. I spent about $18 total for 2 24oz drinks and 1 supersize drink (I forgot how many ounces exactly it was but it had to be like 32oz maybe?). I honestly think that is worth it. I definitely do think that the drink I got (Sunset Breeze; only in supersize when I went) was a little too sweet to my liking but then again, I do not really have a big sweet tooth! I’d just say you never know until you try it!! Edit: I went again, got a different drink (The second image is this drink) and it was very good~ 😌 It was the Maui Crush (just in case anyone wanted to know, it is decaf :] )”

We have tried many but she was often disappointed or they all the way across town or went out of business. Fortunately we tried Don Alfonso's which is only a few blocks from our house. She's been very pleased with menu items ordered so far (1/2 dozen visits) and I think we've found a winner. Extremely dependable and quick kitchen staff and cordial and efficient counter personnel.
