One of the last remaining commercial marine radio stations. They open the museum every Saturday to the public, where you can see Morse code operators send and receive messages to ships at sea. Worth the drive.

The last radio station in the US that uses Morse code to communicate with ships and other countries like South Korea. The volunteers are really friendly and know a lot about the equipment. Very informative and interesting to see. I hope this historic please is preserved for years to come.

This is the only one left in the US and the very few around the world. Volunteers here has keep the place going and are friendly.
There is a restroom here you can use just in case. The entrance is on the right side. Buy some souvenirs if you can to help support the cause.
There is free parking if you want to take pictures of the Cypress trees but please don't park at the driveway.

The guys at KPH run a living time capsule of maritime radio communication. They are super friendly and very knowledgeable about this rather specific and esoteric topic. It was a neat little surprise hidden in a building that few who come for the cypress tunnel choose to investigate. Heads up, they're only there on Saturday afternoons.

Be careful if you plan on parking in the dirt next to the trees. While we were there, a large pickup truck was stuck and a police ranger had to tow their car back onto the road. Come early for the eerie foggy photos or late in the day to see the sun filter through the trees.
