(March 19, 2019, 10:16 am)Lighthouse is currently closed for repair but the views surrounding are pretty amazing. There's a trail just right of the lighthouse that overlooks the ocean which was perfect for whale watching. Saw three close to shore sunbathing and this was in September. May also want to keep your eyes open for coyotes and deer in the area.

(February 11, 2019, 10:34 pm)Quite a nice drive and a nice walk upto visitor center with a dramatic staircase which may not be advisable for senior citizens. Probably the coldest area in all of Point Reyes so you'd be lucky to go there on a clear and warm day.

(February 5, 2019, 11:15 pm)It was cool to see how far down the side of the cliff this was. Keep in mind it is a very long drive to get out there through a rough road over all of the farmlands that are along the coast. Once you get there it is a hike to get to the lighthouse. The view of the coastline is so beautiful as it is unpopulated.

(January 27, 2019, 2:42 am)Beautiful scenic drive in late January. Lots of deer and wildlife on the hills. Peaceful place with lots of trails, scenic views. South beach had some trails and elephant seals viewing area. Worth the drive and definitely will be coming back!!
