Pantoll Campground

Great place for a trail run. Go early!!!

Recommend fee is $25 . it wasn't busy when I went but I reckon it's busy during summer. Campground comes w flush toilet sink bbq pit and hiking trails

Great little campground to rest in after cycling from Oakland.
$7 To camp at the Hike & Bike Site.
Hike and Bike Campground is number 3 which is under the trees and get rain precipitating from the trees at night so bring a good waterproof tent, not a minal coversheet like one poor girl had setup under when I arrived in the dark to discover.
It's cold and foggy in the mornings but the sun hits the north western corners of the car park so you can dry out your tent and gear.
Rangers were nice helpful and friendly, they tried to help fix a flat on a guy's pickup the next morn.
Bike repair station is a great touch for Cyclists.

Camped in late August. 16 sites total at first come first serve basis. $25.00 per night includes 1 vehicle parking. Extra cars are an $8.00 daily fee. Prepare for weather changes throughout the day. Early mornings tend to be foggy. With that, the campsites get rained on from condensation in the trees. You really think it's raining until you walk out to the parking lot, and it's relatively dry. These sites are not adjoined to a car spot. You have to walk your gear to your site, so plan accordingly. Ranger station has a small visitor store front to buy pins, stickers or a shirt. Sites 14 - 16 are at the top of the hill with nice views. 1 accessible site, and 1 bike/hike site. Weekend parking gets full from the day hikers.

Very beautiful, and full of lots of trails to hike on! Its also very close to Stinson beach. I would've given it a 5/5, but there were lots of wasps where I stayed, but other than it was absolutely perfect.
