I worked with Amber throughout the pregnancy and birth of my first child. She has been an absolute rock for me; providing emotional and informational support in a gentle, kind and attentive manner at every turn. Especially during the pandemic, I was exploring different options for my birth at multiple points in my pregnancy and she always guided me to the referrals and information that I needed in order to come to the best decision for our family. When I went into labor, her calm and confident presence truly created the space for me embrace the process and carried me through the *many* hours of labor to the birth. She is incredibly gifted at her work and I will be forever appreciative!

I also worked with Alana for the postpartum care 6-weeks after the birth. She is the best! She has been such a soothing, caring and warm presence in our home every week. The food she made was simply delicious -- mostly soups/stews, lots of vegetables and warm drinks to support lactation and digestion. My favorite thing was the abyunga massages. They really helped my body heal and helped me catch my breath after those initial long sleepless nights. It was the highlight of my week every time!

I would 100% recommend- I'm so grateful to them for helping me have the best birth and postpartum experience that I could. I miss them both already!

I had the pleasure of meeting Alana after the birth of my second child. She gave me abhyanga massages as part of my ayurvedic postpartum care. Aside from her massages being so wonderful (highlights of my week), she was super courteous, attentive, flexible with scheduling and sweet with the rest of my family. So important, especially during coronavirus and with a toddler in the home. I also felt extremely comfortable with her from the start which I believe is so important to get the full benefit from such an intimate service. As far as effectiveness of massages, I didn't take the stool softener and I had no painful bowel movements, my ducts never felt clogged/uncomfortable like my first time and I just felt more calm and stronger more quickly during this recovery. I can't say enough good things about Alana and highly recommend working with her!

Ambers services went above and beyond my expectations! After suffering from post partum depression with my first pregnancy I vowed to be proactive the second time in order to give myself and my family a more positive experience adding to our family of three. I found Amber through Instagram and reached out. She quickly responded and after speaking with her I became excited about becoming a mom of two as opposed to scared or nervous. I had an emergency c-section with my first child and I was planning to just have another c-section with my second. Amber supported me in learning how much better it was for me and my body to try and accomplish a VBAC. I went back and forth on should I do the VBAC or plan a c-section. Throughout my pregnancy Amber checked in with me and I completed her 5 part birthing series, which I found incredibly informative, valuable and useful! She supported myself and my husband and we were able to learn the importance of really helping your partner stay relaxed through pregnancy and labor. With her support I decided to go for the VBAC and I was able to do it! It was an empowering experience to allow my body to do the work it is made to do and without Amber I probably would have passed on the idea of the VBAC. My healing physically and emotionally was so different this time around. Obviously not being a first time mom helped but all the good hormones that came from the vaginal birth kicked in and although still exhausted the feelings of being down and sad did not happen. The Ayurvedic food was so delicious and healing to my body inside and out! Emma cooked for me, I loved just chatting with her, she brought a loving warm energy into my home and I felt like she was my own mom! The massages were heaven and I looked forward to them every week, Alana was so sweet and an experienced masseuse who really helped heal my body. With the support of Amber and her team Emma and Alana I was able to fully enjoy every moment of the first six weeks of my son’s life. The support of a doula is so necessary for a mama!! Do yourself and your family a favor and hire Amber!

When we met Amber for a doula interview we knew she was the one with we wanted to work with. Her knowledge about pregnancy and delivery and her calm but confident personality made us feel very sure about our decision.
We got a lot of information and good tips from our prenatal appointments as well as from the videos she sent us.

As we neared delivery we felt supported and comfortable, and when my wife’s water broke 10 days earlier than expected we were totally prepared. Amber was still with us through that whole process, and was physically present as much as we needed her. I felt so fortunate to have her in the delivery room with me and my wife as went through this incredibly difficult and magical experience.

After our baby girl was born we wanted to continue our relationship and kept Amber on for postpartum Ayurvedic therapy. Her partner Aubrey gave my wife incredible postpartum massages that she looked forward to each week; this was definitely the most relaxation and pampering my wife was getting those first weeks. Aubrey also made hearty and wonderful teas and foods for mom’s healing and lactation. Aubrey has great energy and genuinely took care of my wife for hours each day she was with us, she was very kind and supportive for my wife postpartum emotions.
Thank you Amber and Aubrey we didn’t regret it our decision for a second!
