Golden Gate Recovery

Quinn and his team at GGR are incredibly compassionate and resourceful caregivers. They are extremely well-connected to the recovery community in Marin and, with deep experience in various modalities, they take the time to understand their clients and are flexible to the needs of the individuals in their care. After a few different rehab attempts, my young adult son had a great experience with GGR and remains both sober and in their orbit after only a month’s stay. I highly recommend this organization.

I attended golden gate and I was not a very good person I had a lot to learn about my self. They were very reassuring things would be ok set the guide lines and provided solutions all I had to do was take them. These simple tasks stuck with me. Today I am over a year sober after more than 10 different treatments and doing the Florida shuffle. The guys up at golden gate are now brothers I can call them anytime I need and they always answer ! Houses their are super nice too and all are in super nice areas. Meetings they take you too have the most kind caring people I have ever met !

This place was amazing. I have been to several treatment centers in my life but this one is the best. It is a 3 phase program which ends up being roughly 90 days. I only was able to commit to 30 days but the staff was amazing. I was able to get sober and stay in recovery because they showed me the right path for me. Not only did they accommodate everything they could for me but they went above and beyond. I will forever be grateful to golden gate recovery for showing me my sobriety path.

Amazing place... 3 phase program that integrates the use of cellphones. Staff genuinely care about you and are friendly. First phase you go to programming from 9am to 3pm Monday- Friday. Saturday we go on outings, so far I been on hikes, camping trips, paintballing among other fun activities. Sunday we go shopping for necessities. All seven days we go to AA meetings. We are encouraged to get a sponsor and start working the steps. Mon Wed Fri we go to the gym for an hour and is payed for by GGR. You will be kept busy to say the least. Access to psychiatry, counseling, and therapy. My councilor is Lauren and I got more from a single session with her than any other program I been to. Groups are small and very intimate. There is no way to skate through this program because you will be kindly challenged by staff to participate.

When our son finally surrendered himself to the fact that his life headed nowhere and needed help, he found Goldengate Recovery. Since his admission, the change in his attitude has been wonderful. He is healthier and is focused, engaged, and has a clear understanding of what he can achieve in life. With the tools provided, he has immersed himself into the program and receives support from staff and clients. He enjoys the AA meetings and gets involved.
All in all, Goldengate Recovery has been a life saver for our son. He knows how to deal with the ups and downs of life without the use of drugs. We would highly recommend Golden Gate Recovery because it works! Thank you Quinn and staff!
