Point Reyes Books

I visit bookstores in all the towns I visit and this is one of the best and most well curated little shops I've been to. They carry a range of current titles and local recs. Its a lovely, happy place in a very cute little town. It's a gem of a bookstore and the perfect way to soak in some local literary culture and to pick up local guidebooks and intel on the surrounding area.

One bursts with pride at the mention of Point Reyes Books, a world class bookstore in our little town. It represents all of the core values that draw us here, be it conservation, innovation, food, poetry and the imagination. This bookstore is central to our community. Great! They hosted a book signing by Aubrey Plaza on her new children's book about the Christmas Witch. First time at a book signing and I got to meet a very funny and talented actress and comedian.

This is my favorite book shop. They offer current best sellers, regionally unique books and used / antique books. I could spend hours in here. The staff is quite friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. Grab a coffee next door and be prepared to lose yourself in the selection.
