Cool walking paths and fishing stops. There are a couple picnic benches for setting up the munchies and lots of greenery, but do be careful some of the beautiful green is poison oak. The waters mudded but still pretty.
Totally unexpected stop on the drive around the area. A great stop to enjoy the moment. People were paddle boarding in the nice water inlet. A nice little find! ????
Just a very nice place. Like the Louisiana Delta.
If questionable weather, call (415) 893-9527 after 8am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if cancelled. Meet at White House Pool nature area on Sir Francis Drake Blvd (just south of Inverness Park).
Join Ranger staff in exploring the beautiful White House Pool area where Lagunitas Creek meets Tomales Bay. Rangers will provide a historic overview of the area, discuss the wildlife that inhabit the area, and address current conservation efforts in place to enhance habitat and protect the native coho salmon that enter their spawning grounds here.
