My sister and I both purchased large singing bowls from Tibet Art & Gifts in Sausalito (just north of the Golden Gate Bridge) over the 2012 Labor Day weekend, and my sister and my nephew's girl friend both purchased Tibetan jewelry. We love this place, can't wait to go back! This is one of the few stores where we sincerely hope their "going out of business sale" was just a sale, because this is one of the best authentic Tibetan stores (with authentic handmade singing bowls from Tibet and extraordinarily reasonable prices) in the entire Northern California area!
This store is a must see when in Sausalito. I think anyone who loves Tibet and can afford to invest in this store to keep it open will be rewarded spiritually and in the traditional American business sense. What makes it special is the pricing is fair, so anyone can enjoy Tibet culture, not just the rich (as is the case with other stores in Sausalito with singing bowls). Those bowls are so resonating and beautiful in Tibetan monastery bell tones that there must be something very spiritual about their Tibetan crafts people who handmade them! Extraordinarily therapeutic to ring and feel vibrating in your hand. You can actually hold the bowl to your ear and it's reminiscent of listing to a giant sea shell, only like ancient monastery echoes.

was my favorite shop in Sausalito and I can't wait to go back
to see what else he makes available in the coming year. Just
fantastic - I bought some gorgeous jewelry, a unique, brilliant
colored shawl and more. Women: run, don't walk to this neat
spot when you want to accessorize AND support Tibet !
