  Not a Bank is a eclectic fun place appointed with all types of interesting art & artifacts. Burt is the best! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

  I have stayed at Not A Bank several times over the last 8 years. Bert is a super host and attends to the guests every need. I was there earlier this year, when he was renovating and the place is even nicer than before. This is a hidden gem in Marin County that everyone needs to experience.

  I love this place, it is both elegant and down to earth. The host is responsive, the art collection is fantastic, the bed super comfortable, the piano is in tune, and it is well equipped with new appliances. It is in the perfect location. The town of Tomales is charming and serene, and Point Reyes and Bodega Bay are both nearby. I've stayed three times, and I like it more each visit.

  Not A Bank is one of the most unique get-a-way rentals I have ever experienced!!
  
  It is tastefully and beautifully decorated; has every amenity needed; amazing artwork; comfortable bed with high quality linens; charming town with all the color of local, friendly residents.
  
  It's a charming/healing respite for stepping back to a time when life was slower and "things" were well made. A delight to the senses!
  I will definitely return!!

  One of the coolest places on Earth.
  Amazing mix of art and architecture. Very inviting space, tons of things to do and explore. Paintings, piano, organ, guitars, Augmented Reality experience to guide you thru some of the art works. Fireplace and great sound system. Beautiful and very comfortable bedroom. Honestly, the perfect getaway in a very cool quiet location, yet close to everything. Can't wait to come back.
