“Beautiful view with a trail out to the black sands beach. Do note that there is an 18% grade downhill to get your car down here, so plan accordingly. The road is one-way and makes a loop around, so you will not be going back the way you came, which is probably for the best.”

“We didn’t camp here since you have to reserve it like a year in advance. We did, however take a hike down and hang out in the cove and it was such a unique spot and perfect view of the bridge. Totally worth the hike. Also, the beach is made of the coolest little pebble sand, we may have taken some home ????”

“It's the highest hill hovering over the bay and golden gate bridge. I have been there three times every time I visit the Bay Area. Since it's usually cloudy in there, I only got to enjoy the view from there once and was there till after sunset. I didn't want to leave. It was absolutely such an amazing experience.”

“Marin is the best part of the bay. Extensive trails to run as far as you want with ever changing scenery. The headlands give way to beautiful views of the pacific, San Francisco, and the Golden Gate Bridge. There is a road that is incredible to drive that runs through the headlands and along the coast if you aren’t able to hike, bike, or run. If you’re visiting the bay, plan to cross the bridge and explore some natural beauty. It’s worth it.”

“Probably the best spot for a picture of the Golden Gate and the city. Parking might be tough to find especially during weekends but people don’t hang around long so it’s worth the wait.”
