Great place to play board games, I was in town for work and needed something to do on the weekend. Came in to play some solo games. They had a huge selection, and had a very low per hour price for rentals. They also sell diorama kits, puzzles and toys. I’d buy so many things if I lived here and didn’t have to carry it back on the plane. Highly recommend!
The staff is so friendly! The atmosphere is really cozy and comfortable and the tents are really aesthetic. It's perfect for dates and family time. They also have a lot of cute drinks and snacks, it was my first time here today and I'll definitely come back!
Really cool! Only $2.50/hr/person to play as many games as you like—you can ask the owner for suggestions too! We brought our lunch here too and they just charge a $3 cleaning fee but have plenty of snacks and drinks there too. Too many games to choose from! Really fun to just pick a game and figure it out
I wasn't sure what to think about this place. It's clean, quiet, and the staff (they may be the owners) are nice. I was walking around looking at the *literally* THOUSANDS of games they have for you to play. Every game I could think of (and I've played a lot of board games) was there, and there were many more that I didn't recognize. I'd come to purchase a very specific game, and while the have a decent selection of games to purchase, that's not their main business. You can pay (a very reasonable) price to sit at a table and play any of the games on hand. The price is per person, per hour. At first I couldn't think of how this might be useful, but on careful reflection, even with 3 friends, and a couple of hours, it's going to cost way less than a meal, or movie. Also of note, you don't need to clean your house, corral your pets, or ignore your kids (joking, mostly). They've got drinks and snacks you can buy, and if you're looking to find the next hit game for your group, the price to sit and peruse the game library to find something appropriate is much lower than buying a game that turns out to be terrible. It's a hard to categorize business model, but the size of their game library, and the low prices, make this worth checking out.
This place is such a cute board game cafe. We loved the tents we can play in which makes it feel more private. It's run by a lovely family and you can see the care they put into making this place their own. It's $2.50 per hour per person, which is a pretty good deal for the amount of board games they have.
