It was awesome... Definitely coming back for more!
Awesome hike! Very easy to gain access to and the walk isn't bad either. There is a $5 fee. The trail is also connected to the Chino Regional Park. You can walk between the two parks without leaving the area. The trails are not very crowded. Dogs are not allowed the trails but the park is okay as long as they are on a leash.
It's a nice state park to walk around and take in the scenery. They have a Discovery center, but there's not much there. No dogs allowed on the trails according to the signs, but there's a nice park next door that allows dogs.
Our visit to the Discovery Center was well worth the drive. We drove for over an hour to get to the park. The park (the part we saw) was incredibly beautiful. I am glad I can live somewhere where I can drive just a short while and be surrounded by beautiful nature.
The Discovery Center was an excellent part of our trip. We learned so much from the helpful park interpreters. They were kind, friendly, and incredibly informative. They made the trip so much more enjoyable. Visiting the Discovery Center is something we will absolutely do again. If you have never been there, I highly recommend visiting.
Very pretty, lots of trails. Trail markers could be better. All the Rangers we met were great.
