Can’t go wrong with chili cheese fries. You can add pastrami on it too. I personally think the pastrami is a little too salty but my bro loved it.
There is plenty of parking!
They have a drivethru but I find going inside is much quicker.
Honestly didn't know what was good. Went with the world famous pastrami dip sandwich and a order of large fries. $19 bucks but the sandwich has plenty of meat and their was a lot of fries. The pastrami sandwich was excellent the hotter the fries the better. They also have this fries and chilli, pastrami, a pile of tomato and onion that looked awesome. And it's huge. Maybe next visit.
I love...love....love....the pastrami sandwich and chili fries. I have no words to describe because I am too busy salivating for it...even now. Great food, great people....and I strongly recommend. I wonder if they can pour some cheese in my sandwich lolz.
The Hat offers a lot of menu options, but if this is your first time here, the Pastrami dip is where it's at. Although the title says "dip", the sandwich is not really wet. The French roll comes with mustard, pickles, and of course, the thinly cut pastrami ...and it's messy in the best kind of way.
The chili cheese fries come in a huge mound of goodness, but not overly greasy. Adding onions equals extra deliciousness. It will easily feed a few people.
To help cut through the saltiness, an Orange Bang will do the trick.
Prices are fair, staff is friendly, food is served quickly but hot, and the place is old school but clean.
Fantastic roast beef and pastrami sandwiches. The bread that the sandwiches are served on is perfection; soft yet strong enough to stand up to the weighty filling. Our party of 3 also shared chili-cheese fries which is large enough for probably 6-8, but honestly I'd skip these next time and save the room for the much more flavorful and memorable sandwiches.
