  I'm so impressed by this establishment. Lena has done my hair twice and I'm always amazed by her work. She's done my ash gray balayage and I always get compliments wherever I go. Lena is such an amazing hairdresser and everyone at Mai's is so kind and helpful. Thank you for everything!

  The hair dye I have received was so INCREDIBILE!!! I have received this style from a hairstylist Jia. She was so good and her service was absolutely fenominal. I can't wait to get my hair done here next time. Five out of five stars for me.

  I got my hair styled by June and she was so lovely! I asked that she curl and style my hair for a photoshoot the following day. She made my curls a bit tighter, knowing I’d sleep on them and they would loosen to the look I wanted on the actual shoot 😊 She was so detailed, and taught me how to take care of my hair! I’m from out of town, but this place is definitely a hidden gem and I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Buena Park ☺️

  THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM! If you’re looking for a Korean style hair salon and are in the Buena Park/La Mirada area, look no further! It was my first time so I chose a random stylist. I ended up being assigned to Kay, who was very sweet and considerate! She always checked on me once every few minutes, and even provided me with a green tea and some snacks! For my haircut, I chose a classic perm and a down perm! The results were amazing! I kinda felt bad at the end since I told her that I needed to go somewhere after, so I thought she felt rushed a bit. She even accidentally knocked over her hairdresser drawer which she insisted that she’ll clean up. I hope that she was able to clean everything up and get everything situated! I will definitely be coming back! :) Thank you Kay and I hope to see you soon!

  Excellent salon, work and service! I went in for hair color and I am very happy with it. (I clearly also need a cut, ignore that - I had limited time)
  
  I had the pleasure of having Lena color my hair. She is professional and kind. We shared a wholesome conversation along the way :)
  
  Spanish is also spoken there, just make sure you inquire about that stylist's availability in advance first!
  
  I was visiting family nearby, first time to Mai Hair Story - I will certainly return!
