Costa Mesa Police-Crime Prevention

Thank you mounted police for you protection at last night's Trump Rally. I know it wasn't easy and I hope you all are Ok, horses too.

So I was on a bike ride and I got a flat tire right at the CMPD station (also conjoined with the FD and other city functions). As I'm fixing my flat a squad car pulls out and slows down. Immediately I'm thinking "aw snap" "what did I do now". He asks if I'm ok. I'm pleasantly surprised after being hassled and harassed by IPD while riding. Apparently he also rides and had a spare tube. I won't release his name because knowing a cycling copy or cycling friendly cop is great for getting out of tickets. Sorry guys, that tip is simply too valuable. I declined the tube as I had what I needed to fix it. We got to chatting and I realized I had to pee. Granted I've been known to urinate in public so I asked him if they had a restroom I could use. He gladly offered and said go to the front desk, ask for (again not going to state their name) and tell them (so and so) sent you. I walk in and it's fairly nice, since I've never been to a police station, I'm guessing it's nice. Through some doors, down some halls and through a lockerroom. (much nicer than what they show on cop shows). I use the restroom and leave with an adios. My first experience at CMPD was really pleasant. I'm sure many reviews were experienced under very different circumstances.
